New Temple Video Series: Part 1 — Sacred Space

As part of my effort to create some helpful videos discussing topics of interest here on Heavenly Ascents, I’ve teamed up with David Tayman from Visions of the Kingdom to present a series of videos illustrating the nature, function, doctrines, and ritual of the ancient Temple, in a manner that will be especially of interest to those desiring to understand the connection with modern Latter-day Saint Temples.

The first installment of this series of videos discusses the theme of Sacred Space.

This video is presented on my Heavenly Ascents YouTube channel as well as on David Tayman’s Visions of the Kingdom YouTube channel.

The great visuals, music, and animation of this video are thanks to David Tayman’s technical genius and I am grateful to be working with him on these productions!

Your “Sacred Space” had the music too loud. There are parts that the music makes it to hard to hear you. We do not want to listen to the music, but want to listen to you.

    Thanks

Waldo: That’s my fault. Impatience won out over proper sound mixing. I’m already covered in sackcloth and ashes :)

Thanks Waldo for commenting here. I think both David and I were both so excited about the overall quality and message of the video that we wanted to release it as soon as possible. I am so impressed with David’s (Tayman) work on the visuals and music that made the video a joy to watch. I think everyone can still get the message, especially because it is just a couple of places where it is somewhat difficult to hear. I thought that at the part where we hear about God’s throne the music should crescendo to give the feeling, through the music, of the grandness and glory of finally reaching that pinnacle of holiness.
    Thanks,
    David L.

Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. It is very effective and educational to those who haven’t studied the ancient temples! I’m forwarding the link to several people! I look forward to the next! Thanks for all your efforts on your blog.
